I was curious about this story, as there are so many references to it in Asian fiction. This retelling makes the story accessible and understandable. Plus, it was also fun to listen to the adventures and hear The Buddha say "don't be silly". The narration was engaging and easy to listen too. For those of you who, like me, watched and enjoyed A Korean Odyssey without knowing Journey to the West, I would recommend listening to this.
