Unabridged Audiobook
Book would still be successful if 25% shorter. The narrators were good, the asides were to repetitive.
I enjoy Kuang’s writing and I like how he is always very technical with language and science. This was a good read, although not my favorite from him. The narration was excellent.
I loved how technical and academic this book was. the ending was also extremely satisfying
I work in universities. This is the perfect balance of love for and horror of the halls of learning
The pacing felt pretty slow, and some parts were predictable. It’s my first time reading R.F. Kuang, so maybe I just didn’t connect with it since I haven’t read her other stuff.
it was a slow start, but once the story picked up I enjoyed it very much.
