Unabridged Audiobook
As always, Stacey Lee has created heroines I never want to stop hanging with — in this book, we get the distinct voices of two sisters taking turns narrating their adventure solving the murder of a childhood friend-turned-movie star. Witty, brave, smart — the elder feeling her family responsibilities and the younger throwing caution to the winds, these are an amazing pair; enjoyed their respective romances developing throughout a believable mystery with a satisfying conclusion. Loved LOVED the historical color and dead-on accuracy (as usual) of the descriptions of my hometown, Los Angeles, in the early 1930s. A wonderful tribute to LA’s Old Chinatown community, which was erased so callously. Another A+; thank you!
