Leo Tolstoy is is brilliant thinker. I can't say that I agree with everything he said. I think that some of his commentary is conditioned by his time and place. Nevertheless, he has something to challenge anyone. I think this book may be especially beneficial for Christians to read, though I don't think I would recommend it for someone going through a crisis of faith. It might add too many new questions if one is already struggling. On the other hand, I might just be the answer to the very thing they are struggling with. Michael Scott is clear and consistent as ever.

It was okay, didn't really go into much depth about the kingdom of heaven being in you and the actual gnostic gospels that relates to this, just mostly spoke about what others have labeled as heresy so the title is pretty misleading, it was OK to listen to but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe it should be titled "The People's Heresy or Who decided on what's Heresy" etc. The voice over narrator was decent but had a bit of a lisp at times but I'd listen to his voice again in a different book probably.
