Kissed by the Gods by Caty Rogan deserves every bit of hype it’s getting… and then some. If you take one recommendation from me, let it be this one. This book grabs you from page one and does not loosen its grip until the final chapter. I listened on audio and OH. BOY. The delivery had me feeling everything at once: the yearning, the angst, the betrayal, the rage. It’s fast-paced, packed with action, twists, and emotional turmoil - the kind of ride where you keep saying “ONE MORE CHAPTER” like your life depends on it. Also: the faravars. SUCH a refreshing change from the usual dragons/wolves rotation, and I was instantly obsessed. The world felt vivid and alive, and the audiobook made it even more immersive - like stepping through a veil into another place entirely. And the ending… I’m not spoiling a thing, but I WILL be thinking about it for an unreasonable amount of time. Infinite STARS. God-tier romantasy. If you love high emotion, high stakes, and characters who make you feral, you need this on your TBR immediately.

Loved this book. I was completely pulled into the story and absolutely adored the characters. Broody, wildly protective, forbidden love? Exactly my kind of read. I also loved the loyal, protective, big brother energy from the rest of her group. The bonded animal companions were a chef’s kiss. Some of the plot twists were easier to predict because the author did a good job sprinkling clues throughout the story, but there were still a few surprises that caught me off guard. Overall, such an enjoyable read, and I’m already looking forward to diving into the next book and learning more about this world.
