What if your best friends lived right next door? Meet the Kwon cousins in this new illustrated series for young readers by Jessica Kim.

An eerie curse. A snoopy neighbor. And a trophy on the line!

It’s Halloween, and ten-year-old Nick’s eager to help his family win a Golden Gourd for best-decorated house on their block. With a real corn maze and a mural, they’re sure to take home the trophy! But it’s hard to keep his eye on the prize when he suspects his family is being cursed by a competitive neighbor. A string of bad luck convinces Nick and his cousins that they must figure out how to reverse the curse!

Meet the Kwon Cousins, a new series by Jessica Kim, with illustrations by Victoria Ying. On their sunny San Diego cul-de-sac, adventure is always next door. Eugene (7) secretly keeps a zoo’s worth of rescue pets. Twins Mina and Minji (8) hatch plans from their tree house. Nick (10) investigates every bump in the night, and Jia (11) tries to keep all her cousins in line. Even when the Kwon cousins bicker about the best way to fake a four-leaf clover, they always know they can solve any problem if they work together.
