Unabridged Audiobook
I really enjoyed this book as much, if not more than, the first in the series. I love being taken on a journey into the past and feeling like I have a glimpse into the daily life of the time. The narrator does a wonderful job.
I enjoyed the positive outlook in the characters who faced the harsh reality of early days on this continent.
I love the book I can wait to listen again each time you capture my full attention it It draws me in I feel like I'm there to it I just love it this storyline is great The narrator is awesome
Loved this series looking forward to the next book on audio!
The focus of this novel shifts to Hannah, the beautiful and brilliant half white and half Indian daughter of Nathaniel Bonner. While I missed the focus on her step-mother, Elizabeth, I grew to love Hannah equally. The emphasis on slavery in this novel was also very well done (from a NY point of view). These books are page turners! I never want them to end.
I can’t imagine living in the time this book covers. It seems to capture it very well. Though a bit too lengthy in places, the story is excellent. Great narration. Definitely recommend.
Great book. Easy to read and exciting. Enjoyable and fun
I enjoyed it very much, although in the beginning I did n't really like it that this book (#3 in the series) jumped ahead so many years but as the story went on I understood why. Now on to #4!
