Unabridged Audiobook
Good book nearly ruined by a lousy narration. The reader read with little awareness of syntax or of punctuation, pausing at times mid-phrase and thus showing clearly that he did not understand what the sentence meant. Worst of all was his utter ignorance of the pronunciation of names and common foreign terms. AlberT Kay-Miss? (Albert Camus), for example. Awful, awful narration, with half-hearted attempts at imitating the various persons featured in the book, all of which sounded like a kid imitating the Bowery Boys. This book needs a redo with a competent reader.
