The Last of a Dying Breed: A Classic Western

Once, the plains thundered beneath endless herds of buffalo. Now the ground lies quiet—and men who built their lives on the hunt are running out of time.

John and James Elliott have hunted buffalo since they were boys, rising from skinners to owners of a successful outfit. They knew the work, the risk, and the reward. But as the herds vanish and the railroad pushes west, their business begins to collapse. Wolves press closer. Rival hunters circle. Iron money offers survival at the cost of finishing what little remains.

Forced to choose between profit and responsibility, the brothers must decide what kind of men they will be when the work that defined them is gone.

The Last of a Dying Breed is a stark, historically grounded Western about the end of the buffalo hunts, the rise of the railroad, and the quiet reckoning faced by men who lived long enough to see their world disappear.
