I absolutely loved the story and the reading!!!! Oh how fun it is to live down here in the low country and read about it in the novel you are holding in your hands! The beautiful tone and dialect was just perfectly Southern! I loved every aspect of the story and wishing it hadn't of had to end! Thank you Dorothea for taking us back for a while.

This is one of my favorite Dorothea Benton Frank books and Robin Miles' voice adds flavor each character. I adored Leslie and the way she found her voice to shake up her family who had always taken advantage of her. I had a love/hate relationship going on with Wes during the whole story.
