Unabridged Audiobook
The narrator was great. The story is conceptually good and I appreciated imagery of the farm and the art show. I found the characters to be a bit overstated and it felt like a lot of virtue signaling rather than genuinely inclusive storytelling. I felt very little build up between the main characters to create the tension being portrayed. The character of Opal is confusing, it felt like in the writing she couldn’t decide who she wanted to be. I didn’t hate this, I just wish the story were fleshed out a bit more and there was less direct exposition and focus on trying to fit in every Gen Z buzzword possible. Sorry to this writer, I just wanted more from this story
