such a beautiful story
It was good other than the fact that the characters didn’t really deal with their trauma
Leave Before I Love You completely pulled me in from the first page. The emotional tension, vulnerability, and slow unraveling of the characters felt so real it almost hurt to read — in the best way. The author captured that terrifying space between wanting to love and being afraid to, and it hit deep. Every conversation, every moment of hesitation, felt raw and honest. This wasn’t just a romance, it was an emotional experience about timing, fear, and the kind of love that changes you. I’m still thinking about it. Absolutely unforgettable.
I like the story well enough but there’s a lot of weird fluff. Do you have to write about 700 hugs? Excessive descriptions during intimate moments like “the sofa cushions soft beneath me”
