Summary
It's Valentine's Day, but Macy Rodgers isn't feeling the love. Aside from a torrid, one-night fling in a backseat a few months back, her love life has been sorely lacking, but fortunately she has devious friends who feel like playing Cupid. Wouldn't they be shocked to learn that the match they've made for her is the same one that steamed up the back of that '69 GTO . . .

Seth 'Ghost' Warren has just returned to town after an extended absence. Between his grandmother's failing health, his job as a tattoo artist, his band's gigs, and a crazy ex that won't leave him alone, he's stretched thin. Cautious cowgirl Macy is the last thing he needs thrown into the mix.

She's all country, he's all heavy metal-and Macy knows that if anyone can propel her out of her rut, it's Seth. But when their worlds collide, it's anyone's guess if they'll survive with their hearts intact.

The author is a smooth fluent reader, the voices she chooses to use are a bit annoying.... breathy, nasal. I really can’t stand the men’s voices she chooses to use those accents are horrid!

Ghost and Macy. A typical book of opposites attract. Macy is into barrel racing, rodeos, reading and being introverted. "Ghost" aka Seth tattooed and pierced tattoo artist who plays in a rock band but he's completely into Macy. I totally felt this book just for the simple fact that Macy was very hard on herself and insecure but I loved that even though Ghost was more popular and comfortable in his own skin, he always did what he could to make her feel beautiful and wanted. I didn't really like the challenges of their ranking in society with some of his friends thinking she was an uppity, rich bitch and her friends thinking that he was trash but unfortunately it is something that is still discussed today so it was a valid topic. The sex in this book is so hot it'll make you blush just by reading it silently to yourself. I love that the figure was mostly on these two characters, their friends were there and supportive but they did not take up too much real estate in the story. I like this book better than the first two. I think.
