The Lie

In The LIE, Wayne Coleman masterfully explores the ancient and universal human struggle: the temptation to believe that God is holding something back. From the Garden of Eden to modern-day spiritual battles, Coleman invites readers into a reflective and transformative journey through Scripture, personal narrative, and heartfelt insight.

Blending biblical storytelling with first-person reflections, The LIE reimagines pivotal moments in the lives of Adam, Eve, Joseph, David, and others, revealing the spiritual root of dissatisfaction, shame, and disillusionment. Each chapter stands alone as a meditation on themes such as suffering, identity, purpose, trust, and redemption-anchored by the recurring question: Is God truly good?

Through vivid storytelling, theological depth, and vulnerable honesty, The LIE speaks to anyone who has wrestled with pain, silence, or doubt in their faith journey. It challenges readers to confront the lies they've believed and uncover the truth of a God who knows them, seeks them, and speaks even through chaos.

More than a devotional or commentary, The LIE is a wake-up call-to individuals, churches, and nations-to return to the heart of God and rediscover what was never truly lost.
