Summary
*Read by the authors and celebrated podcasters, Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan!*

From the beloved hosts of the hit podcast I've Had It, an honest, irreverent and inspiring guide to overcoming life's unexpected challenges and finding joy, stability and humor in today's chaotic world, for fans of Big Friendship and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

Long before their blockbuster podcast, I’ve Had It, Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan were simply two best friends, supporting each other through the ups and downs of life. Together they’ve celebrated family milestones and cheered on professional successes, but they’ve weathered the storms together too.

For the first time, Angie and Jennifer open up about the most personal moments that shaped their worldviews, sharpened their humor and inspired the “hopeful cynicism” that underpins their I’ve Had It podcast, including:
- The strains that addiction put on their marriages
- Angie's reckoning with her husband's infidelity
- How they coped with divorce and the highs and lows of parenting
- The formative early experiences that shaped their politics in different ways
- Their experiences with self-doubt and brushes with fame, including on the Bravo show "Sweet Home Oklahoma"
- The hilarious moments that kept them laughing through everything

Jennifer and Angie have seen it all, and they're here to help guide readers on their own journeys, showing us how we too can center our lives around humor, hope and connection and let go of the rest.

Don’t miss Jennifer Welch’s newest book, Not Today, Fascists—a no-holds-barred take on the rising threat of theocracy in America and a fresh vision for how we can take back our country.

I love Jennifer and Pumps. They are the ONLY podcast I listen too. They do some insight into their past, but this book explains it all. I loved that they opened up to their listeners and shared the hardest part of their life. If you listen to their podcast, it’s a MUST to listen to this book!

Excellent book! I watch their podcast very often and now I understand who they are and what they went through.

I heard and read so many raves about this book, but I couldn’t make it through chapter 2. I never even made it to the supposed friendship and enduring life’s hardships together. The first 40 minutes were an onslaught of how evil and stupid ALL republicans/conservatives and anyone who believes in God are. I’m a pretty moderate person myself and I love hearing from people of all walks of life and belief systems but intolerance (from any side) is a hard line for me. This was both mocking and bashing upon bashing upon bashing of anyone that dares not be what the authors deem superior Democrat/progressive/atheist. If you are not ultra liberal or you believe in God in any capacity, this book is NOT for you.

This is a difficult genre to do well. These two ladies (and husband Josh who generously lets them share his serious issues) have mastered it by being so open and honest about both mundane and more difficult and embarrassing topics. The book is very personal, but still not too private. Everything is served with a solid dose of humor, selfreflection and actually a genuine love of human life. Well done, you remarkable southern ladies!

A great book that tugged at my intellect and heart. It brought back memories of living behind enemy lines while I was a teenager. Their fascinating family histories endeared them to me. I highly recommend the book to anyone feeling trapped by fear or circumstance. It doesn't come easy but victory is so much sweeter.

Highly recommend this read! Jennifer and Pumps are so relatable (especially for this former Okie). The book has a lot of relatable content. They are funny and honest. Recommending this to all my gal pals!

These two ladies are wonderful. Hearing their history's, in their voices, was very nice. I feel like I know them better & they are the best!
