This part starts with Sri Ramanuja realizing the need for writing an authentic treatise on the interpretation of Vedanta and other works. Other topics covered in this chapter are SriRamanuja's trip to the north, visist to other shrines, birth of Kuresa's children,incidents involving Dhanurdasa, Maraneri Nambi. This part ends with Sri Ramanuja's entry into Melukote , consecration of the dieties there and Chola's persecutions and Kuresa's ultimate sacrifice.
