Unabridged Audiobook
genuinely a great conclusion to a series I wish there was WAY more of. this is my first introduction to the litRPG genre and has solidified that I definitely will be reading more of them
The ending is the sudden and awesome.
Great series, can’t wait for the next book !!! Release all at once please
What an awesome way to finish the Exlian Syndrome series. Seth Ring really delivered on the progression, power growth, and action that made this series so much fun to listen to. Mark’s journey from the beginning of the series to where he ends up is absolutely insane, and watching everything finally come together was extremely satisfying. I especially loved how much the stakes escalated in this book. There were some genuinely exciting moments, some great twists, and plenty of those “holy s***, how powerful is this guy going to get?” moments that make progression fantasy so addictive. The biggest reason I’m knocking off a star (really just half a star, but can’t do 4.5) is that the ending felt a little rushed. There were several storylines and characters that I would have liked to see get more attention, and I honestly could have used another 100 pages or so. The final stretch moves fast, especially considering how much had been built up throughout the series. That said, I still had a blast with it. This is one of those series where I got attached to the characters and genuinely didn’t want the story to end. It’s been an incredibly fun ride, and Seth Ring has definitely made me a bigger fan of progression fantasy/LitRPG. And of course, Pavi Proczko absolutely crushed the narration again. He’s become Mark’s voice in my head at this point, and his performance throughout the series has been fantastic. Great series. Great finale. Great narration. Would absolutely recommend the Exlian Syndrome to anyone who enjoys LitRPG/progression fantasy.
