Unabridged Audiobook
Beautiful just wonderful. I can't even put this into words it was so good. It was so amazing that during the saddest parts of which the author made it so that the reader or in this case listener, felt bad for the ill treated Sara, I actually cried for pity of the girl. All the time had looked like this
I really enjoyed this and the narration was excellent, the story reminded me of a film or TV series I saw as a child called The Prince and the Pauper, I can't remember much about the story line now but it was very much rags to riches as in this excellent story
Just wonderful, loved this, shall now start again from the beginning.
This story stands the test of time.
One of the best books of all time. Karen Savage is top notch as a narrator.
Such a lovely story ! Burnett touches the soul of the readers with her characters.
adorable love it
Indescribably beautiful book with its wording, meaning and story. This is the second title of Burnett's I finished, after "The Secret Garden" (which turned into my new favorite), and in a way I liked it even more, because of the depth the dramatic culmination and the events following it carry. It is as not as original (compared to "The Secret Garden") in terms of majority of classical plots, but it's unworldly powerful. The narrator has an ideally suitable voice and a very professional way of reading. I absolutely loved it and I wish upon everyone to experience the wonder of this classic :)
such a classic, simple, honourable, fun. Not the best narrators
