Unabridged Audiobook
Writing style and narrative techniques , I loved Dalton's writing style, such as his use of vivid imagery and dialogue, and how it enhances the story. Themes in the book: Reality vs. Illusion - I found that as I read the book, I explored how the story addresses the concept of reality, perception, and how we see ourselves versus how others see us. Great read!
My 28 year old son gave this to me for my birthday - he had read it, enjoyed it and thought I would as well. I loved it. Would highly recommend.
I loved it. It was hard to listen to at times, as the author warned. but those parts had to be there. This is the second book of Trent Daltons that I have read...can't wait for another.
Brilliant book, gives all the feels and is beautifully artistic as well as captivating and suspenseful. Took me a while to get into it but was worth sticking it out as after the slow start, it gets really good!
i really enjoyed this story. i hope they make a movie or show after this book.
Great read and narrated perfectly
My favourite Dalton I think. Loved it.
Amazing. So realistic I think my heart actually broke a little bit at certain points. Highlights the importance of sense of identity, genuine unconditional connections and dignity required for every individual human soul to successfully flourish and thrive.
Brilliant! Only criticism was a few suburbs were pronounced wrong…. Rochedale, st Lucia, bundamba to name a few…. Otherwise brilliant
