This pulls on your heartstrings n the bestest of ways. Be warned though, this book will make you uncontrollably squeal, tear up in the middle of a shopping store aisle, feel almost violently protective of both MMCs and fill you with unbridled joy and hope. The narrator fully immerses you in the story and I finished it in a day as it is impossible to not be completely obsessed with lovestruck Shane and Ilya.

Soooo good! I just love the story of Ilya and Shane. So sexy, so lovely. There are dogs, yay! Narrator is incredible 10/10.

Great story line. I liked the internal conflict and love story. Ilya cracks me up and I love his soft side that comes out for those he loves and dogs.

The first book was great but this one was just boring in my opinion, also the narrators voice is super annoying.

Liked the book very much. Made me emotional many times because I was sucked in/invested so much in the story. Would have liked if the psychologist sessions would be more elaborated. Now it felt a bit cut short. But this not take away anything from the beautiful story. Also I would have liked it when they would like have said, when they where summoned by the director of the hockey league to come by the next day, we will see you next week, we need time to process this first on our own time. That would be powerfully important against like authority figures to let them know you’re not important and we will decide when we see you. But I u they would like go back playing the game as soon as possible. And I liked Shane’s mother idea to give them power. I like it when LGBTQ+ characters take back power in life . Beautiful story and looking forward to September when the next book will be released.
