Unabridged Audiobook
Brilliant
Fabulous! Great narrator, brilliant story telling.
I would have misgivings about the quality of actual writing.. and the ‘out of time’ depiction of life in Ireland during the period of the novel, also some turns of phrase which might not have been in use . After a disappointing reading of the physical novel, and a poor listening to an abridged version on radio, I turned to Jessie Buckley’s outstanding narration. Her interpretation, her voices, her ability to convey depth brought more authenticity to the characters than in my previous experiences. I would be eager to hear more of her audiobook narrations. Thank you for this one!
Definitely did not disappoint…. Jessie Buckley was fantastic narrating & bringing all the characters to life with their accents. Really enjoyed it. Didn’t want it to end.
