Losing Control

Things have never been better between Jimmy and Diana. The Southside Restoration is practically on autopilot, and Diana is able to devote her professional time to the Working Sisters Foundation. But someone wants to take it all away from her, including Jimmy. Add in a couple of murders, a mystery assassin, a weaponized aphrodisiac, and wedding festivities and proposals – Jimmy has a lot of figuring to do.

“Losing Control” is a soft-boiled detective novella with some sci-fi and fantasy elements, and even some romance, sort of a The Rockford Files meets The Avengers (the old BBC series, not the Marvel superheroes.) It’s the eleventh tale in the Detective Jimmy Delaney series.
