Unabridged Audiobook
Scotr Brick does a fine job of relaying Crichtons work, cant fault him for trying to be a little more animated in this.
Scott does a great job of reading this book. Read Better than the last one. Very good audiobook!!!
Great book to listen to.
I love this book
Kinda liked it better than the first which is saying something. Also, as someone who's seen the movies first, I have to say that they SEVERLY did Sarah Harding a disservice in the film. She's the best character in the whole damn book
Very good
A disappointing sequel - just like the film. The plot basically vanished halfway through, just a series of thrill sequences strung together. Ian Malcolm is practically a completely different character from book 1. Doubt i will be re-visiting this one. I do really like Dodgson's involvement in the story though.
A masterpiece. This book, which is nothing like the movie adapted from it, is an amazing adventure story that harkens back to adventure stories like King Kong, Doc Savage in The Land of Terror, and especially The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the novel from which Crichton's book derives its title. It also brings those ideas up to date for a modern audience with more accurate (for its time) depictions of dinosaurs. Crichton's characters are smart, relatable, and lovable. The villains are perhaps a little one-dimensional (evil agents of corporation espionage), but their comeuppance is great, especially for Dodgson. The book wraps up rather abruptly. I understand there was a major revelation cut from the book, which, now that I'm aware of it, actually leaves a gaping hole in the mystery of the island. But it doesn't ruin the book. You have to listen to this story. And, of course, get the original Jurassic Park, too!
Awesome, really enjoyed this.
Yep... he did it again. Got me cought in the lost world, surounded by dinosaurers...
OMG!!! this book was amazing like so much better than the movie but the movie was pretty close to the book.
Fantastic book.
Wow what a great sequel and as always Scott Brick delivered narration gold.
Liked the book but. When Ian talked it was more of a lecture not a story. But I guess scientists talk like that. Narrator good
