Unabridged Audiobook
THIS book. I can't even begin to describe how much I loved it. Let's maybe begin with the fact that I listened to the whole 9hours of it without once finding the willpowe to stop it. All in 1 day. Thom and Clay's relationship was healthy (on me for hating toxic relationships both irl and in books), the sx scenes *mhua* chefs kiss, also both Thomas and Clay's character evolution WHATTTTT - LOVED IT. I also loved the fact that this book wasn't at all centered about the hardships of coming out - important but portrayed in so many other books - in this book the characters' hardships were not related to their sexuality: original and refreshing to say the least. It was a normal love story about 3 guys (as normal as one set in a political setting can be). Basically "the gayness" of the relationship only mattered for the political game it started as, but it became so much more ofc. I simply loved it. The way the author managed to show both Clay's and Thom's point of view and internal voice without going 1st person or separating chapters into POVs was fantastic. And the narrator was perfect.
