Unabridged Audiobook
Enjoyed the reality aspect to the story. Sometimes hard to work out accents! But enjoyed overall.
Listen…this was my first Kandi Steiner book and it did not disappoint!!! The conflict on board between Ember, Finn, and the rest of the crew was stressful but great. The way the drama played out made me stressed for a lack of HEA, but resolved in a nice way at the end. I didn't like Gisella's relationship with Finn, and would have preferred that ended way sooner. The producers and how the show was at the reunion had me sweating but they are not so bad in the end. NARRATION: OK LEMME YAP BECAUSE I'M OBSESSED. I am beyond glad I got to listen to this audiobook. Both the narrators are new to me, but I could have sworn this was a full cast audiobook. They both do a truly phenomenal job at all the different voices and accents. The production of the narration was also great, the pacing very consistent. I love Duet audiobooks at baseline but this may be one of the best I've read for sure.
I really loved the narration. Being a reality tv show fan, the setup was cute. And while the writing technically was solid, the actions of the players were less than satisfying. They acted like high school kids, with the betrayal, secrets and lies. The actions of Finn and Ember-I just couldn’t get past them to enjoy a happy ending where they got everything they wanted
Packed with drama, this second-chance romance set on a charter yacht reality show puts a chief steward, Ember, face-to-face with her ex, Finn, the yacht’s chef, now dating a crew member. There’s plenty of tension as Ember and Finn navigate messy emotions. This graphic audio is narrated in duet style. And with crew confessionals opening up each chapter with various POV’s, this audio is an immersive experience. Chiclana and Williams do an amazing job at the variety of accents for the crew members.
