Lover Enshrined: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood

Unabridged Audiobook

Written By: J.R. Ward

Narrated By: Jim Frangione

Publisher: Recorded Books

Date: January 2008

Duration: 17 hours 47 minutes

Summary:

No one writes dark romance like J. R. Ward, as evidenced by Publishers Weekly's assertion that her 'erotic paranormals are ... frighteningly addictive.'

In Lover Enshrined, a member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood must make a decision that could save - or spell doom for - his race of vampires. Phury knows his share of pain, but can the Primale of the Chosen experience love as well?

Outstanding, JR Ward is my favorite author! Jim Frangione read just a little fast.

Great book, I love this series. Found others in this series to be more exciting which is why I only gave it a 4!

  • Stephanie Willams

love this book. I have completely fallen in love with the entire series.

Oh my gosh I read these books before but listening to them online is absolutely wonderful I am full of the love this book

I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood, but I have to say this is my least favorite book of the series. I can't even finish it. I am so disappointed in Phury. He was the brother who had his crap together. What happened to him? I hate that J.R. Ward has turned him into a drug addict who talks to imaginary people. Every time he talks about the wizard I picture that little green alien Kazoo from the Flinstones. And don't even get me started on the relationship. I feel like anyone Phury ends up with will always be second to Bella. I don't like that at all. Overall, I'm glad this was the sixth book in the series and not the first because I wouldn't have continued with it if this was the first. I will still keep going and hope they are like the first five books and not this one.

Amazing and the narrator is spot on! You lose yourself in the brotherhood!
