I’d rather have a cavity, a bellyache, a blister, a splinter, or mosquito bites than have a younger sister!

 

Lulu has gotten the worst. News. EVER. She’s getting … a sister! To prepare Lulu for this big change in her life, her parents bribe—AHEM, ask—Lulu to attend Camp Sisterhood, aka big sister training camp. There, Lulu gets a temporary little sibling who is supposed to be so much fun, she will make Lulu actually EAGER to have a permanent sister. 

 

Yeah, right. 

 

Lulu has not one iota of interest in trying to get along with her new sibling. Besides, no one ever said Lulu had to learn how to be a good big sister. In fact, she is determined to do her utterly, totally, Lulu-est best to be the WORST sister in training in the history of camp.

 

Judith Viorst is at her funniest in this latest escapade about that glowering, grizzling force-of-nature Lulu, who does NOT—absolutely not!—want a baby sister.
