very enjoyable, I had to start over a couple times because I kept losing my connection or something.
Banal Harlequin romance, simply updated with Blackberry cells and Millenium Park. Worse than the writing was the reader who seems to believe every male needs to talk in such a low, guttural voice, they aren't even decipherable. I would never have listened to more than the first CD if a long drive and no radio reception hadn't held me captive.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I found myself laughing quite often, and didn't want it to end. The characters were easy to like and imagine.
I love this book, it’s light-hearted and extremely funny with a good plot throughout......and let’s be honest who doesn’t love a good romance book.

One of my favorite SEP books. I've listened to this book over and over again having to borrow it from the library. And when I bought my nook it's one of the first one's I bought. Yes, it's cheesy and predictable but you can't help falling in love with all the characters. The main two and the minor ones that she induces and meet in the other SEP books.

Put this book at the top of the 'must read list'? I couldnt leave my car. As love stories go it was a typical pilot, but for some reason I couldn't stop listening. It was fast, written well and the narrator was wonderful.

This is one of those books that you pray for when you rent a book based upon someone’s recommendation. I completely enjoyed this book; the characters were witty and fun, the storyline was delightfully predictable where you’re rooting for the heroine and the Chicago setting brought it home for me. Awesome! I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great modern day love story. The narrator, Anna Fields, brought this book to life. Great Job!!

I really enjoyed this book. The story was lighthearted and funny and the narrator's voice reminded me of Ellen Degeneres. It was a great, light listen and I look forward to the next book by this author.
Not bad. I liked it. I would recommend it. A little far fetched but quite entertaining.
I almost stopped listening to this book at the beginning because it was boring and the reader's voice was so blah...however, I am so glad that I didn't. After the first few minutes, I got into the story and by the end of the first half, I could hardly wait for the second half to arrive. It turned out to be a really great book!
I have to admit that I was, at first, put off by the fact that the reader lowered her voice for the masculine dialogue, but once I got over that I really enjoyed the book. Witty (I actually paused and re-wound some of the funny parts), charming and just plain fun, this is a great book to listen to as you're driving, sitting on a train, or dozing off. This is a romance novel at its best.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, carefree read. Even though I am older than the characters in the book, they were easy to understand. If you are looking for a book that is serious or has deep meaning, this is NOT the book you will enjoy, but if you like romance novels (like I do), this will be a good read. Any one who rents this should be warned that there is some extended sex scenes and the language is a bit salty, but not anything more that you would hear in a PG rated movie.
I LOVED this book. I'm not usually a romance novel fan, but this one kept me hooked all the way through. I actually drove around for 45 minutes last night on my way home so that I could hear the end. Highly recommend if you want a very enjoyable, light, warm hearted book. The perfect antidote for a lousy week in cold Michigan!
I loved this book. I couldn't wait for 6-9 cds and joined the download. I will kept this audio. I listened to some cds twice. Now I'm looking for more books written by Susan Elizabeth Phillips-I'm hooked.The first cd is a little slow but it only gets better.

A terrific listen. Nothing in this story has any base in reality and some of it is just plain silly. That aside, it is a sweet romantic comedy that is well worth the listen.
