Summary
From the New York Times bestselling author of Practice Makes Perfect comes an expanded edition of The Match—a charming romance novel about second chances and the healing power of love, with a never-before-seen chapter.

Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it.

Evie Jones has dedicated her life and very limited funds working for Southern Service Paws, the company that matched her with the love of her life: Charlie, a service dog trained to assist with her epilepsy. But it’s no secret that the company has been struggling to make ends meet. It’s up to her and her longtime mentor and boss to throw the fundraiser of the century to keep the doors open.

Then Evie meets Jacob Broaden at a client consultation meeting. There are instant sparks—but not the good kind, because Jacob’s daughter set up the meeting without his knowledge. Ten-year-old Sam has been recently diagnosed with epilepsy and has wanted a service animal ever since. While he has hesitations at first, it doesn’t take long for Jacob to be convinced that a service dog and possibly Evie, with her magical, woodland-green eyes, might just be the best thing for him and his daughter.

As Evie spends more time with Jacob and helps Sam find her perfect match with a lovable golden retriever named Daisy, she starts longing for something she’s never had before—a loving family. For Jacob, falling in love with Evie is the last thing he should be doing, but love has a way of finding those who need it most.

This book grew on me. It’s a bit slow in the beginning and a little corny. Once I got into it I was glad I kept listening as it is a cute story.

I loved it - it's fun, it's easy - sometimes you just need fun uncomplicated stories to listen to.

Glad to see a female main character that isnt todays ideal woman.

Cute romance novel, however the use of a particular trope at one point annoyed me a lot. Thankfully everything was dealt with in a reasonably quick way so that I was happy by the end.

Loved the book and the narrators were excellent. A good story and throws a good light on working service dogs. Recommend highly

Story was sweet, but slow and predictable. Female narrator was too breathy for me.

i’m absolutely l fabulous. As a nurse , and as a former girlfriend of a man with epilepsy, I was excited about the way the handling of seizures was described. SPOT ON ! My former boyfriend didn’t tell me he was an epileptic; so I was shocked when he had a seizure one morning… He was ashamed. He continued to drive and was otherwise in denial. We split-other differences-but his denial and mishandling of the situation endangered himself and others. Well done! read this book NOW!

This book could be 4 hours maximum. She repeats the same things again and again. If it wasn't for free with my trial I would regret my money for sure.Additionally, her tone is like she reads a fairy tale to kids. So difficult to follow her, so difficult to concentrate, so boring!I place 2 stars not 1 just for the info even if it wasn't something new.Understand it, quality not quantity is the important thing!

Totally predictable and sappy. I listened to this as I drove and it was ok because I did not have to concentrate on the details. It was sweet but very predictable. If you want something easy and mindless this is your book. I sped it up some to get it moving. It was sappy gooshy, too. The readers did a good job, though. Nice read for what it was.

It was an fun and cute romance, a little basic for my taste and the third act conflict was super annoying but overall a good experience.
