A perfectionist bookseller, a chaotic courier and a missing book delivery that changes everything. The Matcha Maker Bookshop by Lily Chen is a sweet, small-town, opposites-attract romance perfect for fans of Laurie Gilmore, B.K. Borison and Sarah Adams.

He’s one bad grade from failure; she’s a razor-sharp perfectionist who hates mistakes . . .

As the literary heart of Bramleigh Green, Klara lives her life by the book, longing for her happy ending but avoiding the unpredictability of romance in favour of pristine shelves and a perfectly managed inventory at the cosy local bookshop she runs.

When exhausted trainee teacher Leo Morales, moonlighting as a courier, misdelivers the valuable special editions Klara was planning to auction at the village’s Winter Lit Fest, his secret hopes of winning her heart are dashed.

But as the two plot a rescue mission over delicious treats from their favourite café, Matcha Moments, an unexpected chemistry grows between them.

Can Klara rewrite her own script, or will Leo prove that the best chapters are the ones you never planned to read?
