She’s is a inspiration ❤️

Mama Tina! As the story was read and the emotions poured out, I cried along too. I wondered about the devorices, the pregnancy talk, Uncle Johnnie and all was discussed here. While I am a Beyonce' fan, I was grateful that this story was about Mama Tina, Solange, Kelly, Angie and the rest of the crew, not just Beyonce. I enjoyed seeing how it was for a youth growing up in a time where there were protests and marches against racism. So much of Destiny's Child's success wasn't just because of Matthew, but also because of the sacrifices Mama Tina made. It is SO good to be able to see Mama Tina have her moment! While I bought the audio book, I now need to buy a hard copy for my collection!

Mama Tina- You've been through it all. Your story of legacy & love is so inspiring! Her recollection of her life is historically insightful of racism in our country and music industry. She has forged a path for generations to come and deserves a name like Matriarch.
