Unabridged Audiobook
This book is slow, like really slow but it was ok and I really liked the last 3 hours of the book but it was hard to get through. I listened to this book because Stephen King mentioned it and one of his books and the ending is a lot like a Stephen King novel, but not nearly as good but I do have to take into consideration. This book was first published in 1898 4 stars is all I can do
Although it has a couple of lenghts, this novel is definitely worth a listen. It offers great insights into early 20th-century San Francisco and paints a rich picture of greed, jealousy, and human tragedy. Wolfram Kandinsky, who reads the audiobook, does an absolutely amazing job!
