The paranormal twist of this duet will leave you with your mouth open. The twist of this story was something I never saw coming and it was quite the story. I loved watching Colton and Josie find their way back to each other. What a ride! The narrators did a great job with this story. Loved it!
This is the second installment in The Life Duet, a romantic, psychological thriller. Colten and Josie's story continues where the first book left off. Colten is a single dad and a homicide detective. He is handsome, and protective. Josephine/Josie is a forensic pathologist, and medical examiner. She is enigmatic. The storyline is intense, emotional, breathtakingly captivating. I liked the ending. Amazing story. Emery Erickson and Alastair Haynesbridge did an outstanding job bringing this story to life.

The conclusion of this duet was just as emotional as the beginning. Josie and Colton’s relationship was put through every test imaginable, and even some that were beyond imagination. I can honestly say I had been waiting impatiently for the wedding day after the prologue from the first book. It was absolutely amazing when I finally got to it. Listening to the scene brought so much emotion that my heart was in my stomach during both POVs. And can I just say, Colten’s daughter was the bravest thing ever!! It is extremely hard to review this without giving anything away but I can say…you will not be disappointed with this story. It has second chance romance, a soulmate type love between our main characters. The dual POV is great and the flashbacks to their childhood was so much fun to listen to. Josie’s journey is so painful and the narrator did a fabulous job conveying all that emotion. I want to throw all the stars at this duet!!!
