Unabridged Audiobook
very enjoyable book. twists and turns happen. it's a story about a woman finally getting acceptance and a family community that she willingly accepts and defends. she finds out why her baby daddy sent her away and more about herself and her newfound powers. I love this narrator, she is very skilled. I must say I am fussy about narrators, tk me they make or break listening to a story. (on saying that I did put the speed to 1.1, it was just a little too slow) another great story by Jennifer L Hart. She is doing so well on the midlife magical genre. PS her other work is amazing too.
Magic, shifters and witches I really enjoyed this story of a not so perfect, sometimes flawed woman who when it comes down to protecting the ones she loves, will fight against all odds to do so. Sam is an unhappily married middle aged woman with multiple sclerosis and to top it all off has an abusive husband. Sam once away from her husband and old life, finds she and her son belong to a magical community in North Carolina who accept them into their family. There are twists and turns, secrets to be revealed, reuniting with an old love, plus possibly a new love interest. Along with threats and danger to overcome. A great storyline that kept me interested with all that was happening along the way. A truly enjoyable book and narration. I received an audiobook copy for my honest review and also had purchased the ebook.
