ER nurse Sadie Kline wasn’t looking for love, or even a night out, when her roommate talked her into a blind date. She’s shocked when her date turns out to be Craig Malone, her childhood neighbor and brother’s best friend—now a Homeland Security agent. What starts as an awkward reunion spirals into danger. Craig is protecting a virologist developing an antidote to a stolen biological weapon, but when Sadie crosses paths with a suspect in her ER, she lands in the sights of a terror network with millions at stake.

As New Year’s Eve nears, threats escalate and loyalties are tested. Craig is determined to keep Sadie safe, but the bioterrorists’ midnight offensive is closing in, and failure could mean disaster.
