Unabridged Audiobook
I do not care for various narrators. Phil Shinivere is GOOD. Kathy Barrett takes too many breaths, & in trying to make it sound realistic, it doesnt. There’s another one or two that were not very good
Luv ms Billy!!! So like me!
Miss Billy’s Decision proved to be a thoroughly charming and enjoyable listen. The story itself is light, humorous, and engaging, offering the kind of warm, old-fashioned entertainment that is increasingly rare. It holds a delightful balance of wit and heart, making the experience both comforting and entertaining. The only drawback was the number of narrators involved. While each narrator performed admirably — and it is clear that a great deal of care and skill went into their work — the frequent changes in voice, tone, speed, and accent disrupted the flow. Once a listener settles into a particular narrator’s rhythm, an unexpected shift can feel somewhat jarring. Although this did not diminish the quality of the story, it did affect the overall immersion. That said, the audiobook remains an absolutely delightful listen. The charm of the narrative outweighs the challenges in narration, and anyone who enjoys classic, character-driven storytelling will find it well worth their time.
