You think I’d know better than to fall for the nice guy next door…

You know, the sweet one I’m bound to ruin when I break his heart and move on after ten minutes. Because that’s what I do.

But instead of boarding a plane to visit my family for the holidays, I end up sick. Puking into my overnight bag in an Uber and then stuck at home with a fever. And my brother calls Landon to take care of me.

Landon—the maddeningly wonderful, perfect guy who shouldn’t be folding my laundry (yes, that laundry) or tucking me into bed. And he definitely shouldn’t be looking at me like I’m more than just his flighty neighbor.

When he stays at my apartment and misses his own family traditions to take care of me, I can’t help questioning the growing spark between us. And when he washes all my clothes so I’m left wearing his hoodie?

Whew. Light me up.

But falling for Landon is reckless, like lighting a match next to a dry Christmas tree. The smart move would be to keep things strictly platonic, but when he looks at me with heat in his eyes, I wonder if avoiding the mistletoe is the real mistake.

I have to decide, protect Landon’s heart when I know it can’t last or risk it all for the guy who’s been there all along?

Mistletoe Kisses & Something Merry is a holiday companion novella to the LA Rays Sports Romance Series but can be read as a standalone.
