I enjoyed this book very much. Great perspective of the mob life. The gory parts were not to graphic but descriptive. The sex was there but gratuitous. The narrator was perfect

Great story didn’t know that Virginia Hill was a mob queen in reality I knew who seagull was great story loved the narrator liked her accent and her change of voice with each character thumbs up

Excellent story and narrator. Such a strong brave female protagonist and a toxic love many of us can relate to.

Great narration, but the story (naturally) is very dark/upsetting.

I would recommend reading this novel, but be advised there are some very adult parts. Which as a book about actual mob persons and activities, that is expected. The narration was very good, she did a wonderful job conveying the sentiment needed at various places in the storyline.

Not a great book. If you like mob history, this wasn’t that. If you like a good story with believable characters, this wasn’t even close. Very feeble attempt at making mob intrigue interesting. Don’t waste your time
