Typical of books of this type; peopled with cardboard characters. In the old days, this would have been known as a "dime novel."

Fun, light book. Interesting, mildly believable characters. Plot holds your attention and book is fast paced. Ending seemed a bit weak. Overall, not the best of its type, but worth a quick read.
