The reader for the audio book read clearly and enthusiastically - so it wasn't a rough listen. The book itself is extremely well written and the author made valid points to back up his stance. The author describes his research process which I feel could and SHOULD be applied in all research projects as well as the way in he delivers his points. Worth listening to or reading, whether you do or do not believe.

More Than a Carpenter remains one of the most effective and heartfelt defenses of the Christian faith. The 2009 edition, written by Josh McDowell with his son Sean and narrated by Sean, refreshes this apologetics classic for a new generation. Sean’s narration is clear and sincere, making the arguments easy to follow and deeply personal. The book challenges listeners to consider who Jesus really is—liar, lunatic, or Lord—and supports its claims with solid historical and logical reasoning. The McDowells respond thoughtfully to modern skepticism and cultural confusion, showing that Christianity stands on evidence, not emotion or myth. It’s both intellectually engaging and spiritually encouraging, perfect for anyone seeking a reasoned faith. Rating: 5/5. A timeless and accessible defense of why Jesus truly is more than a carpenter.
