Summary
Three years ago, I swore to myself we were done.

Since then, Tweetie Sorenson has embraced the professional hockey player bachelor lifestyle—his social media is a highlight reel of clubs, friends, and a never-ending stream of different women.

It’s hard to believe he’s the same man who stole my heart the very night we met. With him, everything felt wild, spontaneous, and absolutely perfect. I thought he was my forever.

Then, he broke my heart. Or maybe we broke each other’s. Either way, it was over.

I’ve moved on—new city, dream job—until my boss throws me back into Tweetie’s world. I’m sent to Chicago to manage the Falcons’ social media, which means working alongside the one man I never truly let go of. FML.

My favorite of the series

I think it's safe to say that Tweetie is THE character from The Nest we've ALL been wanting to read about, and it was well worth the wait! His story with Tedi was very different from what I expected, and I think that was one of the things that made me love them the most: I thoroughly enjoyed their love story, the glimpses into the past that Piper Rayne gave me, and the drama surrounding Tweetie being the oldest player on the team. Also, I think Mr. Charming was the perfect closure for this beautiful series and its characters, and I also loved reading about the characters from Tweetie & Tedi's past, even though I haven't read their series, and they left me eager to learn about their own stories. I loved Tedi from the first chapter, I love her professionalism and how she is willing to not fall into the temptation that is Tweetie for her, and that's where another of my favorite things about this book appears: the BIG TWIST the authors gave to the fake dating trope, because Tedi decides to look for a fake boyfriend so that Tweetie stays at a distance and I can swear that this plot gave me many of the funniest moments in the book (even in the series), and I loved that for that job she would find Decker, her younger brother's best friend, on whom I fell in love a little too. Also, Tedi finds her place in Chicago forming a beautiful bond with Ky, Jade & Eloise, who accept and love her as soon as they meet her. I also loved reading her family relationships and how she is the most direct and brave when things start to get complicated at work. This girl is a complete, complex, and adorable character. Tweetie captivated me from the first book! Her playful, sometimes grumpy, and slightly conceited personality made me really enjoy this series, and that's why I really liked getting to know a side of this character that is much more vulnerable, complicated, sometimes insecure, and who prefers to be alone than to have to open her heart to someone again. I also think Tweetie is a character who grew a lot from the beginning of the series until she finds her happy ending with Tedi. I also LOVED getting to know him through his diaries, reading how willing he is to fight to win Tedi back, but before that, to see her happy even if it breaks his heart. Tedi & Tweetie have a great backstory that Piper Rayne shows thanks to the entries in these characters' diaries, something I personally loved because it was a different way of showing us these two's past, how broken their hearts were after the breakup, everything they had to fight for after that, and the great love that still exists between them. And when Tedi & Tweetie finally decide to give each other a second chance, I love that we can truly see their individual growth during all those years apart, that they are both willing to do ANYTHING to be happy together, and that they are such a fun, sweet, and loving couple.

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I loved every second of it. Piper Rayne has done such an amazing job with this entire series. Tweetie is one of those characters that stay with you throughout an entire series, even when they are a side character. I always loved the playboy persona he carried around but knowing deep inside he's nothing but a softie. The chemistry between Tweetie and Tedi was undeniable and palpable. The banter was hilarious. The way Piper portrayed their relationship development was amazing, seeing who they were before, who they became due to the circumstances and where they ended up gave me all the gooey feelings. The full cast narration was spectacular, as it has been in this entire series. Definitely one to remember.

Mr Charming The Nest #4 By Piper Rayne Narrated by Troy Duran - Audiobook Narrator, Christine Lakin, featuring Connor Crais, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, Sean Masters, CJ Bloom Fun! Fun! Fun! Piper Rayne could not have given Tweetie and Tedi a better story! These two have a history and now it's years later when they finally see each other again. Heartbroken at the time, the chemistry is still so strong, Tedi is doing her best to keep her distance. But will her shenanigans be enough? From the journal entries giving me the feels of the past and present to secret redezvous, this romance was filled with high emotion and explosive attraction. The fun of all the previous nest characters adds in the advice and banter that only true friends have. This is a fantastic listen and made my weekend happy. Troy Duran is Tweetie, and his voice is like butter. Each scene is swoony, filled with emotion and his voice went straight to my heart. Christine Lakin is Tedi, and she plays the frustrated, impossibly in love woman with each feel being real. I loved these two together, and adding in the reprisal of the others by Connor Crais, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, Sean Masters and CJ Bloom, the story was like hanging out with old friends. Amazing narration and enjoyable performances.
