This is a short story for both young and old, with many layers to enjoy. It is hoped that it will prompt discussion about the importance of taking risks, whilst developing an understanding of personal resilience.

Our children and young people are growing up in a dynamic, complex and ever-changing world. Having the ability to embrace change and to absorb and adapt in a positive way, is as important as ever. I wrote this story to convey the importance to my own children of understanding risk and resilience, whilst also being aware of the impact they can have on others and their environment

The music (composed by Craig Espie) incorporated into this audio book reflects the characters behaviours and brings them to life in a unique and engaging way.
