love anne rice I have most of her books on audio and physical format

I didn’t realize it was an abridged version. The music in it was very disconcerting and distracting. The narrator was fine, but the music inserted at different stages took from it. As it was abridged, it lost a lot of flavor of the full book and felt very rushed and disjointed.
