Unabridged Audiobook
I tried to listen to this book twice. I am an American adult who has been listening to English novels for 3-4 years. Many, many books. But this book appeared to me directed at a young adult audience and was barely understandable with the accents, names of characters and expressions. I never write negative reviews, but this is my first. I would avoid unless you can understand the sample narration and are under 30 years old.
The narrator was great! The story was fun but I was a bit disappointed in the ending.
Loved it. Somewhat of a modern day Miss Marple or Agatha Christie. It was a fun read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and liked the reference to other murder mystery! I think the narrator did a great job!
I couldn't get past the English accent. Was so dissapointed. The story sounded good.
The grandma protagonist is really sweet and the way she starts to investigate and find leads made sense. Overall felt trapped with the narration and liked all the characters, including a special Dachshund.
