DCI Frank Finnegan is anticipating a relaxing festive break—until his wife surprises him with a Murder Mystery weekend at Kindlewood Hall Country Hotel.

Costumes. Clues. A staged murder.
A little festive escapism.

He’s looking forward to it like a hole in the head.

But when a brutal Arctic storm—the Beast from the East—cuts the hotel off from the outside world, the make-believe quickly turns real.

What begins as Christmas roleplay becomes a deadly game with the first murder.

With DI Prisha Kumar and DS Zac Stoker among the guests, Finnegan must separate fact from fiction as suspicion settles over the grand old hall like falling snow.

Snowbound. Isolated. Nowhere to run.

As Christmas cheer curdles into fear, accusations fly as secrets surface.
And somewhere inside Kindlewood Hall, a killer is sizing up their next victim.

Can Finnegan solve the mystery before they strike again—or will this be someone’s last Christmas?

Murder Mystery is a festive, snowbound, razor-edged twist on the classic Agatha Christie-style whodunit—blending crackling atmosphere, sharp dialogue and Yorkshire grit.
