Unabridged Audiobook
The most wonderful book of the author
This is my first audiobook, and Agatha Christie novel. I absolutely adored Hugh Fraser narrating this story. He was engaging and his voice felt natural as it brought authenticity to each character. The story itself is wonderful! Amazingly depicted and perfect for anyone who loves a good "who done it?" story. Being a self proclaimed gunshoe at these types of mysteries, I was able to figure it out, though I imagine most people would find the ending shocking. I absolutely loved this story and all of the characters. In my opinion, there were no slow segments, and it kept my interest constantly. I was able to finish this book in only a few days because I couldn't stop listening. I would highly recommend this book.
I love this book! Definitely did not end the way I expected. Would absolutely recommend!
In short, if you want a book that will shock you, read this one. Well crafted, with devious plot devices, Christie showed her genius for detective fiction with this book. It was a work of genius because she had the imagination to do something amazingly original. This is her most classic work of all time.
Loved this mystery! A real twist in the end.
The first Agatha Christie Novel that I fail in cracking down the killer !
I did not like this story in the first 3rd, but I won't pretend that the twist in the final chapter did not get me. I was compelled to know the ending, and I was glad for the journey I went on. Like those other reviews, I would advise that anyone gives this one a read.
Amazingly written detective story. As you would expact from Agatha Christie.
