this was an amazing story I loved the voice they chose for raven a lot. also the fact that Everest wanted to get revenge on everyone was amazing. all in all I would totally recommend but it is very graphic.

Audiobooks Update: 4++ - I have to say that this reread was even more enjoyable as an audio narrated a new-to-me narrator Michael Casale, who has a fantastic voice. His voice is perfect for Ev and sexy as Raven. Love hearing him say "baby". I enjoyed listening to this very much and will definitely listen again! Ev/Everest is the most broken of boys...he is horribly abused by pretty much everyone in his life. Everyone who should have protected him failed him in every possible way, [Please check the TW as the abuse (and later revenge) is graphic and on page] but he has a voice inside his head that has helped him to endure. Finally, after an especially brutal episode, Ev begs for help in a specific way that allows Raven - the voice that was within him - to come to his rescue, to heal him, to cherish him, and to love him beyond anything Ev has ever known. Raven is Ev's demon mate. Yes, there is insta-love - if I were Ev, I too would fall immediately into love with someone who showered me with love, affection, respect, and adoration the way that Raven does, so zero complaints here. And yes, the rest of what follows is mostly smutty smut and oh so sweet revenge, but I'm here for it all! Definitely a fun, wild ride and I can't wait for the next one from this author!
