Unabridged Audiobook
A good insight to a true champion
Loved her story. Real, genuine and funny.
I've always admired Ronda and was curious about her whole story. This book was more of a look into Ronda's judo life versus her UFC life, which I unexpectedly enjoyed. While it's possible her memory could be insanely good, there were a number of match/fight descriptions so detailed I had a hard time buying that anyone could recall that level of detail. Overall, an excellent study in what makes a champion, with honorable badass mention to Ronda's mother. I'd love to meet her.
funny , fun, honest and entertaining
I just listened to the whole audiobook in a day! It was so special to listen to Rousey read her own words. You could feel her emotions behind her voice. As a martial artist, I feel so motivated to give my everything every fight now.
Im so glad she narrated this book. Having her emotions read the way she wanted really ads to this audiobook. This is my new favorite audiobook.
The way she setup the timelines are brilliant and the fact that this book is read by Ronda her self makes it even more so and it gives a verry real feel for the emotions put in to this book! Its hard not to get cought up and get emotional
Absolutely loved this book. Honest and broken yet strong and powerful. Highly recommend
wow - Rhonda Rousey. To be honest, I'd never heard other before I listened to this book. what an inspiration. Narrated by the author is always that much more special, the right amount of excitement an, explosion, tenderness, fight, glory and grit. I loved it, and loved the experience.
Good book, well read by the author. Pretty neat to get an inside look at Ronda's younger life and what she went through. I'm a big fan.
Having already read the book, the audiobook is great especially with Ronda being the narrator.
Awesome! I couldn't stop listening, everything is familiar situations and experiences thank you to share and inspire!
Such a great read. I loved that it was Ronda narrating too, it made it more personal and raw.
I'm not a fight fan but was caught up in the drive Ronda has and wanted to know more about her. I loved that she was the one to tell her story, great delivery and it felt so sincere.
This was a really wonderful book. I knew little about Ronda Rousey before but have so much respect for her as an athlete and a woman now. Her narration and pace was fantastic and you get a great sense of who she is and her enthusiasm for life. I found this book really motivating and inspiring. It's a keeper and I will re-read/ listen to it again and again.
I really liked listening to the author narrate this herself. Ronda Rousey is infinitely cool in my eyes, but I think that even people who don't care much about her as an athlete/fighter will still enjoy this book. She talks a lot about the things she's overcome as a person and doles out surprisingly insightful advice.
I've been following Ronda's career for years now, from UFC, to movies, and to (maybe one day...) WWE, and loved her book. Hearing it in her voice really added to the experience, especially as someone who is in martial arts as well. While I doubt I'll ever be at her level, she helps inspire me to put on the gloves every week!
