loved the two main characters. Great story and twists from enemies to lovers.
An enjoyable historical romance with an interesting twist of fantasy. Narrator did a good job too.
I was surprised by the plot device which happens early in this book. I am glad I stuck with it because I soon found the story totally compelling. There were plenty of twists and turns in the relationship and I enjoyed hearing how the characters learned to understand and appreciate each other. I really felt the connection between them.
