Unabridged Audiobook
LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
Narrator: Amber Faith My Reading Speed: 1.5x Have I Read The Book Before Listening to the Audio? Yes Overall Audio Impression: I’ve reread this series multiple times before and I keep picking up something new that I missed the previous go around! For this particular book, I definitely remember who the killer was so it was interesting to pick up on new clues as the story progresses! I loved re-getting to know the naturals, their skills, & their eccentricities. They are so much fun to try and puzzle out while Cassie is getting to know them. As for the narrator, I love that she has different voices for everyone! I can tell who is who easily without verbal character tags and I love that the voices pretty much match how I guessed they’d sound based off their words & demeanors throughout the stories (since I’d read these books prior to listening to the audiobooks). Favorite Scenes: Meeting Cassie’s family Cassie first meeting the other naturals The basement Truth or dare Reader’s Notes: -this is the first of a series & though the other books can’t be read on their own, for the most part this one can (there is one thread that isn’t answered in this book -> who will Cassie choose from the two guys she’s interested in & are interested back) -this is told mainly from Cassie’s point of view, but there are also some chapters from the killer’s point of view (denoted by ‘you’) -Cassie is interested in two different guys in this book/series, but she doesn’t choose who she’ll pursue during the events of this book (she does later in the series) -Cassie’s mom was murdered when she was younger & Cassie found the scene of the crime (she has flashbacks/nightmares about it) -Cassie & the other naturals are training to find and catch killers so there is talk of serial killers, how to profile people, murders, death, blood, & other things related to unsavory acts like this (though these things are also applied to a current case investigation that the naturals pushed their way into); current killer’s things: talks of screams, begging for their life, thoughts of carving into the victims with sharp objects -it is mentioned that a character flips another off -it is mentioned that a female character wears barely there pajamas in one scene (this is the basic extent of the description)
It was really good! Kinda slow at times but made up for it towards the end!! FYI-Track 31 doesn’t play all the way through.
Excellent and thrilling book ! Great narration as well ! Recommend
amazing story, lovely narration!
I liked the book. It became one of my favorites in a very short time. I'll listen to the other books from this trilogy. The narrator was really good. Thank you for giving me a good time listening to this. Thank you.
I love this
Great story line but not thrilled who the villain turned out to be…
